Another neat backstory tidbit I built in:
On page one, Tarik is mentioning a certain Sultan of Jawahra - this is the father of Zahrah, the other protagonist of The Wide Ocean besides Puarani.
(The implication is that he sent the Cryptida team in hopes that they'll find his daughter...)
