I love how Jekyll's nose is pressed up against the visor of the goggles. And the look on Hyde's face. I imagine something was done to separate them for the day.
I actually thought about the separation a bit, and decided it makes perfect sense b/c the beach setting is the same as my comic's setting, the Hinterland! The Hinterland is kind of like a fever dream/afterlife/surreal subconscious mindscape, so if Jekyll wound up there he'd probably totes be able to interact with Hyde as a separate entity even though they're like, part of each other
